AffordablePapers Overview
I was excited to start working on this Affordable Papers review because the website looked legit, and the service had impressive ratings across feedback aggregators. So, of course, I went looking for inconsistencies and found plenty.
First, the website belongs to Writera Limited, a Cyprus-based company that had its fingers in a lot of pies. And none of their essay mills have the best reputation.
Second, customer reviews aren’t as good as the rating makes it seem. And there are plenty of complaints, ranging from poor English to plagiarism.
Finally, the overwhelming number of small discrepancies made me question the service’s attention to detail and writing skill.

Quality of Services
For the purposes of this Affordablepapers.com review, I ordered a 5-page argumentative paper on the core reasons behind the current trend of progressives shifting to the conservative side. I wanted at least three solid points supported by real cases and hard facts from at least five credible sources. And to make things interesting, I set the deadline to three days.
The first thing I noticed was the change in the essay topic. Although the title aligned with the order, the content didn’t. Instead, the writer highlighted the ideological differences between Republicans and Democrats, even though I didn’t mention anything about political parties in the order form. And considering the writer failed to include a thesis statement in the first paragraph, the paper turned into an expository work rather than an argumentative paper.
I was so angry and confused that it took me a while to notice how vague the essay was. I didn’t find a single specific example (aside from Donald Trump), and there were no figures or statistics to support any of the points. Instead, the writer used phrases like “many” or “a significant portion”, which don’t tell me much.
Overall, the paper was an unusable disappointment, with no substance and poor writing that would never pass for a college essay that could score a high grade. So the company’s promises to follow all instructions to the letter were clearly fake.
Prices and Deadlines
So is AffordablePapers truly an affordable paper writing service?
They claim to only charge $7 per page, but that’s for high school papers and deadlines over 14 days. For college students, the prices start at $12, and I ended up paying $18 per page because of a 3-day deadline. So the order total was $90 for a 5-page essay. And if I’d set the deadline at 4 hours, the cost would have been $34 per page. That’s hardly affordable in my books.
By the way, you need to be careful about choosing the deadline, as the order form is pretty confusing. First, they ask you when your paper is due and then let you pick a delivery option on the due date or a few days before it. So instead of simply choosing the date you want to receive the paper, you’ll have to do some calculations. And let me remind you that the deadline affects the price, so make sure to go back and adjust the deadline if the order total is higher than expected.
As I’m always looking for the best deals, I went looking for a discount. And having found none on the website, I reached out to the support team to provide one. Instead of sharing the code, the agent started asking questions and offered to review my order. In the end, they told me my order was too cheap to justify an additional discount.
Guarantees
The money-back guarantee covers all the standard cases, like late deliveries and poor quality. And the terms seemed pretty straightforward, though not completely fair. For example, if you order a paper with a 14-day deadline and get it late, you can only receive 7% of your money back. That hardly seems fair, especially if you no longer have a use for the essay.
At the same time, I didn’t fully understand the difference between getting a partial and full refund of the paper I didn’t like. As far as I can tell, it’s all up to the company managers. And I doubt they are eager to approve full refunds, considering I didn’t see any mention of a refund among the reviews.
Online Reputation
I couldn’t access the company’s page on Trustpilot, just like with most academic writing services pages. However, SiteJabber was more helpful, with a 4.41-star rating based on over 170 reviews for Affordable Papers.com. But when I looked at the actual reviews, I learned that over 40 of them were negative. And the complaints ranged from plagiarized papers to late delivery and inability to follow instructions.
At the same time, the company representative came up with a reply for each of these complaints, even if their response was nothing more than a request for order number and proof of purchase. Considering the support team’s performance in live chat, I was surprised to see them so proactive on SiteJabber.
Looking back, I don’t think I’d have used Affordable Papers after reading all those negative posts.
Customer Support
There are at least two positives about the support team. First, they are available online 24/7 via live chat, email, and phone. Second, you don’t have to be a member or go through Affordable Papers login to contact support managers, so even new customers can get answers and help.
As for the negatives, most support agents I talked to were pushy and impatient. They asked many questions and didn’t wait for me to answer before closing our chats. And whenever I asked uncomfortable questions about revisions and refunds, they were quick to change the subject and avoid direct answers. That’s not the kind of user experience I expected after spending nearly a hundred dollars on a paper.
Conclusion
As always, I tried to make this AffordablePapers review helpful by sharing my subjective take on the service. Of course, I could have merely gotten unlucky to be stuck with their worst writer and support agent. But all the bad reviews I’ve seen hint that there’s something wrong with the website. Poor writing and annoying support experience are not worth your time unless you’re a glutton for punishment and love wasting money. There are dozens of reliable essay services better equipped to deal with your schoolwork.
