Pros
- Convenient website
- Good customer support
Cons
- No online presence
- No pricing chart
- Missed deadlines
My today`s review will cover the peculiarities of Essayup service, one of the well-known essay writing companies on the market today. I didn't find any information about its experience, but according to the website, it has been successfully working since 2013.
There are many essayup reviews with both positive feedback and negative claims from customers, so I decided to check it myself rather than rely on someone`s opinion.
In my own experience example, I will show the pricing policy and guarantees, test the quality, and talk to customer support to see whether this service is decent or scam.
Is essayup reliable? As it turned out, it's not. To properly check the quality, I created my own order - a standard essay on Psychology for college-level with a three days deadline. I didn't mention any specific requirements and didn't add extra services, just the paper as it is.
The writer was assigned within 6 hours, which made me concerned, but they still had a lot of time to complete my order. However, when the deadline passed, I didn't receive the paper.
It was sent with three hours delay. Of course, this is not so terrible as it could have been, but still, I had to worry a lot. The overall quality was satisfying, some typos that I found I fixed myself not sending for a revision.
Talking about service costs, I have to mention that there is no pricing chart available. You see the final price only when starting to fill in the order (which is very inconvenient), and it is calculated based on the level, paper type, number of pages, and deadline.
I always compare prices setting such parameters as high school level, essay, one page, 14 days of the deadline. EssayUp offers $10 per page, which is a bit above average compared to other services.
Besides, you can pick extra options like plagiarism report ($10), abstract page ($14), and high priority ($15). If you add all of them, the standard high school essay can cost pretty much.
The company offers a 5% off discount for your first order (promo code UP5ESSAY), which is less than the majority of companies provides.
As my deadline was missed, I looked for the guarantees. Yes, in this case, they should compensate 100% of the cost, but they never did (I contacted customer support several times).
Other guarantees are quite standard for all essay writing companies: moneyback guarantees in case of double payments, plagiarism-free guarantees, and free revision in case you provide a Turnitin report, etc.
There are not many positive Essayup Reddit reviews and zero reviews placed on such trustworthy resources as TrustPilot and SiteJabber, which is quite strange.
Essayup reviews placed in section Testimonials on the website itself don`t look realistic: there is no option to add your review, which means that all of them are moderated by administrators.
Is Essayup legit? Yes, they have an office in England with a real address and contact information. Is Essayup scam? Well, it is definitely not.
I did like the level of customer support always available by the phone, email, and live chat. Even though I didn't receive money back (that really sucks), all other questions were resolved almost immediately.
Summing up my essayup.com review, I can say that my experience was rather negative than positive. My opinion is mostly based on zero online presence, not convenient pricing that is hardly competitive, missed deadlines, and average quality.
All these points should be improved, but until then, I can't recommend this service to anyone unless you are fine with everything mentioned above.
