Kibin is a platform where students get editing help from freelancers in case of problems with papers. As it claims, their purpose is to lend a helping hand, give feedback on a written academic assignment and recommend improving some aspects.

However, the website looks strange, and the presented information makes me doubt their honesty.

For instance, the first fact that raised my eyebrow was the bold statement about its creation year. 2011, are you serious? I looked through thousands of Kibin.com reviews and found out that the oldest review was left in 2013!

But their promises about help at any time and the claim "team members located worldwide" made me laugh. For your information, they have only 6 freelance editors in the team.

Quality of Services

To test their freelance editors, I sent the first version of my college essay, as I knew its weak points and what should be improved. Moreover, I asked to add synonyms because some words were often repeated, which made my essay sound weak and boring.

However, the provided paper disappointed me greatly because the editor had ignored my requirements and just fixed a few punctuation errors and typos. I think he used Grammarly to check my paper, and even didn't read it.

So, is Kibin fraud? It's up to you to judge, but this service is a waste of money.

Prices and Deadlines

I don't like the lack of information about the paid subscription! I tried to find it for 30 minutes, but then I freaked out and decided to sign up. Only at this step, I finally find out how much it cost to get access to the Kibin essay database (check out the picture).

But as you can see below, it's possible to get it for free by providing 10 unique assignments.

As for the editing service, customers pay for it separately, and the price depends on the deadline and number of words. You can upload the paper or count the words and indicate the number to discover the cost, but I don't recommend the first option. It seemed to have a technical problem because the prices for my essay were the same - $14.

After visiting the website, the first thought that came to my mind was, "Is Kibin.com safe?" I delved into their Terms of Service and discovered that there was no money-back guarantee! It's impossible to get a refund for a subscription or low-quality editing help.

Trustpilot is full of feedback from satisfied students, and the average ratio of positive and negative reviews is 94% to 4%. Don't you find it suspicious? That's why the Kibin.com rating is 4.7 out of 5, but I would give no more than 3.
