Service Overview
Let's start this Sharkpapers.com review with a fun fact:
the service belongs to a UAE-based Skyscrapers LLC. The
inconsistencies continue, as the order form screenshots on
the homepage show Indian rupees instead of USD or AED. And
the ridiculous 50% is so clearly a marketing trick; it's
not funny. Read on to learn what else the company has in
store for unsuspecting customers.
Types of Papers Available
SharkPapers focuses on academic writing services. You'll
find plenty of Document Type options in the order form,
including:
- Essays of all kinds
- Homework
- Quizzes
- Business plans
- Case studies
- eBooks
- Presentations
- Dissertations
- Speeches, etc.
Quality of Services
Before working on my SharkPapers review, I ordered a
5-page argumentative essay on potential improvements to
the American immigration policy. I expected the writer to
cite current regulations, immigration statistics, etc.
Instead, I got an opinion piece written in the first
person with lots of emotional language and no hard facts.
It was not what I ordered, and I couldn't use it.
The most unsettling was the use of random words in some
sentences that made no sense. I guess the writer tried to
use a paraphrasing tool or thesaurus without understanding
it would ruin the piece further. It made me doubt they
were a native English speaker.
Sharkpapers.com Writers
The company promises that writers are native English
speakers with advanced degrees from elite institutions,
but I highly doubt these claims. I'm pretty sure my writer
was an ESL with an intermediate level of English and no
concept of American academic writing requirements.
Sharkpapers.com Plagiarism
My quick QueText check returned 15% of similarities, which
isn't bad, but still unacceptable in my school. It looked
like the writer forgot to paraphrase a passage and cite
the source, which annoyed me further.
Sharkpapers.com Additional Features
SharkPapers didn't offer freebies or premium add-ons, not
even a plagiarism report or an abstract page, which seemed
weird.
Prices and Deadlines
Every page being 300 words long instead of 250 or 275 is
the main advantage of Sharkpapers.com pricing. At the same
time, the rates are pretty high, and the numbers look
weird because they are calculated based on the exchange
rate between USD and AED.
| Academic level |
Price per page |
| High school |
From $14.03 to $25.99 |
| College / University |
From $18.59 to $32.99 |
| Master's / MBA |
From $23.14 to $37.99 |
| Ph.D. |
From $25.43 to $50.00 |
Sharkpapers.com Discounts & Promo Codes
The homepage offers a generous 50% discount, but the
limited-time offer is nothing but a marketing trick to
lure you in. Whenever I tried to place an order, the timer
started counting back from the same time, so I'm pretty
sure it's a permanent feature, not a real promotion.
Sharkpapers.com Login & Paper Ordering Procedure
The order process is pretty standard, though some steps
come out of order:
- Press the "Order now" button on the homepage.
-
Provide email and phone number to create an account.
-
Calculate the price based on your academic level,
deadline, and the number of pages.
-
Provide assignment details, such as class, topic, and
instructions.
- Log into your account.
- Make the payment.
Guarantees
You can get a free revision within 14 days of receiving
the paper, but the company will only make small changes if
you can prove they're in the wrong. And refunds are even
trickier to obtain, as you have to provide evidence of the
low writing quality that's not a low grade. I tried to get
my writer to revise the paper before working on this Shark
Papers review, but it didn't do me much good.
Online Reputation
The Sharkpapers.com rating on the website is a lie, as the
service's account is no longer available on Trustpilot,
and the SiteJabber rating is 3.7, not 4.72. Besides, the
negative reviews are pretty alarming, especially the one
claiming the company threatened to disclose order details
to the reviewer's school administration. And Reddit
reviews weren't too promising either, with plenty of
complaints about writing quality and support team
performance.
Social Media
SharkPaper's Youtube channel is barren, but the Instagram
and Facebook accounts are still holding on. Although the
company posts moderately useful content, the likes and
comments are few and far between. And I didn't notice any
SharkPapers reviews.
Customer Support
I asked a few standard questions via live chat and got
stock responses, but the moment I requested a revision,
the support team became slow and unresponsive. At the same
time, I noticed they only responded to positive reviews on
Sharkpapers.com, while negative posts with detailed issues
got no response.
Conclusion
SharkPapers uses bald-faced lies and fake 50% discounts to
lure students in. But once you pay, they will ignore your
legitimate complaints and revision and refund requests,
and they may even threaten to reveal your order to your
school. That's not a writing service you want to trust.
